Install the desktop app
Download the build that matches your operating system from the Swift Tunnel download section. Windows users can use the installer. Linux users can choose the AppImage, Debian package, or RPM package that fits their distribution.
Before installing any desktop application, download it from the official Swift Tunnel site and verify the release information when that is part of your normal security process.
Add a trusted profile
When Swift Tunnel opens, import a configuration from a provider or administrator you trust. The app supports common sing-box formats, so you can add a compatible share link, subscription, QR code, or file.
Do not paste credentials into public chat rooms or issue trackers. A tunnel configuration may be enough for another person to use or inspect the connection it was intended for.
Connect and confirm
Select the profile and connect. Swift Tunnel shows live connection information such as status, throughput, ping, and the active protocol. If the status does not become connected, check your ordinary internet connection first and then verify the profile details.
Common first-run issues
- An expired subscription may need to be refreshed from its original source.
- A copied link can be incomplete; re-copy it without edits.
- A Linux package may require the format that matches your distribution.
- A server-side outage or configuration change must be resolved by the provider that operates it.
Keep your setup tidy
Remove profiles you no longer use, use clear names for the ones you keep, and install new Swift Tunnel releases when available. A small, well-maintained profile list is much easier to troubleshoot than a collection of unidentified links.
