Privacy Policy
We built Swift Tunnel so there’s almost nothing to write here. Last updated July 17, 2026.
The short version
Swift Tunnel is a client you run on your own machine. It connects to servers you configure — we don’t operate a VPN service, we don’t see your traffic, and we keep no activity logs. There’s no account to create and nothing to sign in to.
What stays on your device
Your server configs, subscription URLs, and app settings are stored locally on your computer. They never leave your device except to make the connections you ask for. Deleting the app removes them.
What we never collect
- Your browsing or connection activity — which sites, which servers, when.
- The contents of your traffic. It is tunneled, not inspected.
- Your IP address or location.
- Your server credentials, keys, or subscription contents.
Crash reports (opt-in, off by default)
To help fix bugs, Swift Tunnel can send anonymous crash and error diagnostics. This is disabled by default. It only runs if you turn on “Send crash reports” in Settings, and it never includes IP addresses, traffic, server details, or subscription contents — only the technical information needed to locate a crash. You can turn it off again at any time.
Network connections we make
- To the VPN servers in your configs — initiated by you when you connect.
- To your subscription URLs, to refresh node lists (only if you add a subscription).
- Optional latency checks to a test URL you choose in Settings.
- Optional crash reporting, only if you opt in.
No third-party tracking
The app contains no advertising SDKs, no analytics that profile you, and no data brokers. The only optional outbound telemetry is the crash reporting described above.
Children
Swift Tunnel is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect data from anyone.
