Hysteria2 in plain English
Hysteria2 is a modern proxy protocol that you may see in a sing-box configuration. Swift Tunnel can use a compatible Hysteria2 profile after you import it from a trusted provider or network administrator.
The protocol is only one part of a complete connection profile. The hostname, port, credentials, TLS settings, and transport details must match the server. For that reason, it is best to import the full configuration instead of trying to build one field by field.
When should you use Hysteria2?
Use Hysteria2 when it is supplied as the supported option for your connection. It is not automatically better for every network or every server. The server operator decides what it supports, and a profile that works reliably is more useful than a protocol selected by name alone.
Add a Hysteria2 profile in Swift Tunnel
Open Swift Tunnel, select Import, then paste the supplied link, scan the QR code, or choose the configuration file. Confirm the profile source before saving it. Once imported, select the profile and connect.
If the connection fails, refresh a subscription profile if one is available, verify that the link was copied completely, and check the status shown by the app. Do not post a full configuration link in public while asking for help.
Keep configuration details private
A connection profile can include private credentials. Store it only in trusted places, remove profiles you no longer use, and request a replacement from the original source if you think it has been exposed.
